Who is this, the man with the lantern?

Of course it may also be a woman with the lantern. Somebody anyways who has said 'goodbye' to Auto als Leitbild zur Orientierung, Koordinierung und Motivierung (the car as leading object for orientation, coordination and motivation - of the powers, might be added to each) to quote Prof. Dr. Stephan Rammler,  TUniversity Berlin, from 2003.

The tarot card The Eremit, the man with the lantern, who on the path to himself taking difficult paths in the stillness of the high mountain of knowledge has arrived and follows the lantern of wisdom that he himself holds up or rather in its gleam of light looks for the next step. Meagre and introverted, non-influenced by outside stimulations he/she has taken his/her time to think and ask the question about what truly is essential.

How has this image been transformed to our concept?

The quiete GLEAM of the burning light of reason and understanding makes appear what the diverging lights whizz by in the ride of the automated fight of life. The ice of the glaciers in the Swizz mountains and at the poles of the earth are melting continuously caused by all this automated or big industry whizzing. Insofar the ice of the high mountains is truly no longer an image for personal retreat. Psychological councelling or meditation groups offer shortterm alternatives. Or where do you find time, space and peace of mind for self-reflection?

Anything goes? A huge promise for freedom. Could it also be the freedom to find oneself?

Well, we have invited 4 speakers for this.

Mrs. Birgit Weiglein

Thomic Ruschmeyer
of the federal association Solarmobil e.V. (Solare Mobility, registered association)
He speaks about the future of the solar mobile....so that in future we will still be able to breath.

Born 1959 he is technical sociologist/pedagoge, chair of Bundesverband Solare MobilitŠt e.V..

DSB special commity ''Solare Mobilitaet", and recipient of Europaeischer Solarpreis (European solar prize) 1994, recipient of Deutscher Solarpreis (German solar prize) 2004, and so on...

After a question round to the first two talks we will have a short break during which you may want to have a look at the E-mobil outside.

After the break our chair member Jšrn MŸller speaks.
He speaks with another text, so-to-say a fictional dialogue, a language performance.

Jšrn MŸller, born 1970, studied Applied Culture in LŸneburg/G., he lives and works as freelance journalist in Hamburg (mostly for  online publications. Emphasis on art and culture, education and profession).
He deals with literary experiments - especially as co-founder of the author duo Literaturinferno (literature inferno)

After that Kay Rehlich, whom I got to know as the husband of artist Sabine Rehlich who is an employee at DESY

DESY is one of the world's leading centres for the investigation of the structure of matter http://www.desy.de) will speak about the newest experiment - the development of an x-ray laser flash, so-to-say the brightest light fixture in the world. We get to know what light actually is - at least from a natural science point of view.

And finally Timon L. Kuff,
born 1969,
scientist for cultural sience (M.A.). He has teached in University of Lueneburg as assistant lecturer for artscience and iconography. (Key-words: silent sides of science, epistemology, mediumism and art, pictures and formations of the unconscious)
and insofar is able to establish connections to the image of the man with the lantern.
