Movement teaches us about relativity and thus the radical subjectivity of space and time. The more the subjective acceleration increases the slower time flows when looked at it objectively until it finally halts. The horizon of event beyond of which space and time collapse is the surface of the rushing halt. Is the movement decelerated however and succumbs the absolute authority of transience starts.

Adriane Steckhan removes chronology from movement by long exposures and puts in place instead a frozen concurrency of events.
By this she gives the static objects a pulsating temporal depth on the other hand.
On translucent skins of polyacrylics phantom-like halt and restless traces of light stand opposite of each other.
