from a vehicle a place is a space with memories and history from
which we escape from the inside of the accelerating car.
The space that we rush through, divide but still not divide becomes the area for projections of our inner images, perceptions and thoughts.
As such it is constructed by us in fragments.
The taking photographs can be regarded as a failed try to thwart a motion that is not one's own body's and with that also thwarting
a feeling of being delivered and an irritated view.
The interaction of speed and photo exposure leads however to independent images without comprehensible objects for reference
in the visible world. The viewed takes very own shapes in the image and because of the shift in distance and the time-delayed
release of the camera the generated image is always an 'after' picture.
The exhibition presents variations on these images which experience a new classification and get into motion again in their interplay.
